AERO-IM series blowers are new-generation machines. In terms of design, they are an evolution of a number of skid low-flow blowers. They are a machine that includes the drive motor and the actual blower with an integrated gearbox (Integrated Multiplier/Gearbox) on a single frame-oil tank (skid).

They can be used in various industries. They are of particular interest for operation at water canal aeration stations.

Design features:

  • Single-stage blowers with gear drive and lubrication system, skid design;
  • The structure is a single unit (skid), on the frame, which is also a container for storing oil, and with the drive motor, a blower, check valve and lubrication system mounted thereon;
  • Rotor shaft is combined with the gear wheel, the axial-radial impeller of the blower is located at the end of the rotor shaft;
  • Closed axial-radial impeller with high efficiency within the entire control range;
  • Drive shaft and rotor rest on the plain bearings that provide improved resistance to low-frequency vibration;
  • IVGV for capacity control;
  • High polytropic efficiency provides power saving up to 50 kW at nominal mode vs. peers;
  • Driven by general industrial electric motors;
  • State-of-the-art automatic control system (ACS) and anti-surge protection;
  • Soundproof enclosure (option);
  • Suction air filter (optional);
  • Installation in the machine room at the foundation ground level.

Gas-dynamic characteristics:

Initial conditions: t = 20 °C, ψ = 50 %, РH = 98.1 kPa, R = 288.3 J/(kg*K), k = 1.4

Competitive advantages and design features:

  • Coke oven gas exhausters are single-cylinder, two-stage, with one-side suction units;
  • Case is made of cast iron, with horizontal and vertical splits;
  • Suction and delivery nozzles are turned down. Two impellers fixed on a shaft, diffusers and guiding vanes form gas flow path. Labyrinth seals separate compression stages. Asynchronous motors are as a drive;
  • Coke-oven gas exhausters are provided by shaft-turning gear;
  • For rotation the rotor during oiling;
  • When exhausters are in standby mode;
  • During their steaming before start up and after shutt-down.  Steaming process is carried out;
  • For cleaning gas flow path from tarry substances. 

 

AERO-SM Blowers

AERO-SM series blowers are a machine whose main unit is a high-speed motor with a frequency converter. Axial-radial aluminum alloy impeller is mounted on the motor shaft.

These blowers can be used in production processes with highly demanding air quality applications (100 % oil-free air).

Design features:

  • Single-stage blowers, skid design;
  • Driven by high-speed electric motor c/w a frequency converter;
  • Axial-radial impeller is mounted directly on the drive motor shaft;
  • No liquid oil system due to the use of roller bearings;
  • No liquid cooling system;
  • State-of-the-art automatic control system (ACS) and anti-surge protection;
  • Suction IVGV (option);
  • Soundproof enclosure (option);
  • Suction air filter (optional);
  • Installation on a flat concrete area, no foundation needed.
